Schools and Scout Groups
With over 2,300 square feet of classrooms and multi-purpose space, the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts serves school groups, youth organizations, and families with programs linked to fiber arts and Wisconsin history.
Interested in scheduling an outing for your group?
We offer specific workshops for Girl Scouts and also workshops for other youth groups such as 4H, clubs and home schoolers.
The workshops include:
Weaving for Beginners
Quilting for Beginners
Knot Your Own Bracelet
Sew Your Own Doll
Paint & Stitch
Explore the Arts in 2 Ways.
For situations when it would be more convenient for the Museum to come to you, as opposed to taking a field trip to the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts, we offer the Outreach Program. Contact us for more information and to set up a visit.
We are also looking to build our team of volunteers who want to work with children. People who love children, fiber arts and history are welcome to contact us!
